Created according to a time-honoured recipe, this unique aperitif features a blend of Mediterranean spices including aniseed, fennel, coriander and the precious mastic coming from the island of Chios, which endow Ouzo by METAXA with a rich, complex bouquet and cool, crisp flavour.

Pours clear, this louches to cloudy white when ice water is added. Feels light on tongue, and the slow-building alcohol becomes quite fiery with repeated sips. The flavor profile showcases star anise and fennel, with hot black pepper on the finish.
